Toyohashi, in eastern Aichi Prefecture, flourished as a post town on the Tokaido road. Around the station, hostess bars, girls bars, and snack bars offer a locally rooted nightlife experience.
Step out of Toyohashi Station and you'll see streets that still echo the history of the Tokaido road. At night, the neon lights of the entertainment district come on, drawing local office workers and visitors.
