Settling the bill by credit card; whether it is accepted, and whether a handling fee is added, varies by venue.
Card payment means paying by credit card instead of cash. Many nightlife venues are still cash-only, and those that take cards may add a handling fee or accept cards only above a certain amount. Even if a listing shows Card OK, confirm with the venue before you book or sit down.
The card statement may show the operating company's name rather than the venue's. In case cards are not accepted, it helps to know where to withdraw cash: convenience store ATMs also accept cards issued overseas.
