A pyramid of stacked glasses filled from the top so the champagne cascades down, ordered as a special celebration for birthdays and events.
A champagne tower is a stack of champagne glasses several tiers high; champagne poured into the top glass overflows down through the tiers. Guests order it at host clubs and hostess clubs to mark a cast member's birthday or a venue anniversary. The price depends on the number of bottles and tiers, and it is treated as a special menu item rather than an ordinary bottle order.
There have been cases where the price was not shown in advance, so get the total in writing or on the menu before you order. For all the spectacle, the amount you yourself get to drink is small.
