Pickup

Pickup (mukae) is a service where a cast member goes to meet the customer at a designated location and accompanies them to the venue. It is commonly offered in table-service nightlife establishments such as host clubs and hostess bars.

This service is especially useful for first-time visitors or venues located in areas with limited transportation. The cast member will meet the customer at a train station, hotel lobby, or other agreed-upon meeting point and escort them to the venue.

Etiquette for pickup includes being punctual and clearly communicating the meeting point. While the service is often complimentary, some venues may charge a transportation fee for distant locations. It is advisable to confirm with the venue in advance.
