At night, Kawagoe's historic warehouse district is lit up, showing a different face from daytime. Along the shopping street from the station, neon signs of hostess bars and girls bars glow, bustling with local office workers and tourists.
The area is divided into the west and east exits of Kawagoe Station, with the west side being the main entertainment district. Sakado and Higashimatsuyama are about 20 minutes by train from Kawagoe, dotted with more local snack bars and izakayas.
Around Kawagoe Station, there are about 50 hostess bars and over 30 girls bars clustered. Prices are relatively reasonable: hostess bars cost 5,000–8,000 yen for 60 minutes, girls bars 3,000–5,000 yen.
