At night in Seiseki Sakuragaoka, the neon lights quietly glow amidst the residential calm. A short walk from the station rotary reveals small signs lining back alleys, where local regulars fill the bars.

The area centers on Keio Line's Seiseki Sakuragaoka Station, split into north and south exits. The north side has restaurants and shops, while the south is residential. Nightlife spots are mainly around the north exit alleys and along main roads a bit from the station.

Nightlife here revolves around hostess bars (kyabakura), girls bars, and snack bars. A few hostess bars offer reasonable rates and an easy entry for first-timers. Girls bars are casual, great for a drink and chat. Snack bars provide a homey atmosphere with the mama and regulars, often with karaoke.

The number of venues is small, but each has its own character and local following. Prices: hostess bars around ¥5,000–8,000 per 60 minutes, girls bars ¥3,000–5,000 including cover, snack bars ¥2,000–4,000. Concept cafes and lounges are rare.

Access: within walking distance from Seiseki Sakuragaoka Station on the Keio Line, about 25 minutes from Shinjuku by express. Best on Friday/Saturday nights, peaking after 10 PM. Be mindful of noise in this residential area.
