At night, Roppongi's neon signs illuminate the crossing, taxis stream endlessly, and a mix of suited businessmen, flashy hosts, and foreign tourists creates an atmosphere of a city that never sleeps.

Roppongi Crossing is the hub, where Roppongi-dori and Gaien-higashi-dori intersect. Hundreds of nightlife spots are within walking distance from the station, ranging from high-rise buildings to back-alley small shops.

Along the main streets, high-end hostess bars (kyabakura) and host clubs line up, often costing tens of thousands of yen or more per night. In the side streets, more affordable girls bars, snack bars, and concept cafes are scattered, making it easy for first-timers to enter.

Roppongi has many foreigner-friendly venues, with some hostess bars and girls bars offering English menus or foreign staff. However, some places may refuse entry if you don't speak Japanese, so check in advance.

Access is convenient via Roppongi Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya and Oedo lines. Weekends are lively until late, while weekdays are relatively quiet. Taxis are common; be aware of late-night surcharges.
