Yachiyodai and Katsuradai are two station-centered areas in Yachiyo City, Chiba. By day they are quiet residential neighborhoods, but at night the drinking streets near the stations come alive. Snack bars bustling with regulars and casual girls bars line the streets.

Geographically, Yachiyodai Station and Katsuradai Station are connected by the Tōyō Rapid Railway and Keisei Main Line, about 30 minutes from central Tokyo. Both stations have dining and drinking spots within walking distance, with the south exit of Yachiyodai and north exit of Katsuradai being the nightlife hubs.

The nightlife scene is centered on snack bars and girls bars. Snack bars offer a homey atmosphere where the mama and regulars chat and sing karaoke. Girls bars are relatively affordable, around ¥2,000–3,000 per hour. There are also a few hostess bars (kyabakura), with set fees ranging from ¥5,000–8,000, cheaper than in central Tokyo.

Concept cafes and host clubs are rare; the area is a local-oriented adult social scene. Shops are small with few staff, so reservations are recommended.

Access from Tokyo: about 30 minutes on the Tōyō Rapid Railway to Yachiyodai Station. Last trains are around 11 PM, so late nights require a taxi or car. Coin parking is available near the stations.

When visiting, respect local customs. In snack bars, engage with the mama and regulars. At girls bars, confirm the cover charge before entering.
