The night in Shikokuchuo City shows a quiet side of the paper town. A short walk from the station, small alleys are dotted with the warm lights of snack bars, where regulars gather in a homey atmosphere.

Geographically, the center is Iyomishima Station on the JR Yosan Line. Nightlife spots are scattered along the shopping street extending from the station rotary and its surroundings. The entertainment district is compact and walkable.

For nightlife, snack bars are the most common. Many are small, run by a single mama-san, where you can enjoy karaoke and chat with locals. There are also a few girls bars, offering a casual vibe with young female staff. Kyabakura and host clubs are almost nonexistent, and concept cafes are not seen. Prices are reasonable: around 2,000–3,000 yen per hour at a snack bar.

The nightlife scene is small-scale with few flashy neon signs, but it's perfect for those who want a relaxed drink. It's a daily nightscape where local office workers and craftsmen drop by after work.

Access is within a 5-minute walk from JR Iyomishima Station. If driving, there are coin parking lots near the station. Friday or Saturday night is best to visit. Many places are closed on Sundays. English is rarely spoken, so learning a few simple Japanese phrases is recommended.
