This area extends towards Ashiya from Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi and Koshien-guchi in Hyogo. Across Nishinomiya, the Hanshin Main Line runs east–west, as do JR’s Tokaido route and Hankyu’s Kobe route; Hankyu’s Imazu and Koyo routes provide north–south links.
JR Koshienguchi has the address Koshienguchi 2-chome 1. Hankyu places its Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi station in Kofuen 1-chome; its station guide lists Imazu, Koto-en and Mondo-Yakujin nearby. For the city centre, Nishinomiya City identifies three rail gateways: the Nishinomiya stations of JR and Hanshin, plus Hankyu's Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi.
Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi and Koshien-guchi were added to Hyogo Prefecture's anti-touting zones on 1 May 2024. One designation lies north-west of the Hankyu station. The other takes in certain municipal and prefectural road sections south of JR, within Koshienguchi 2-chome.

Hyogo added two districts to its anti-touting designations on 1 May 2024: Koshien-guchi and Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi. At Koshien-guchi, the designation concerns portions of municipal and prefectural roads south of the JR station, in Koshienguchi 2-chome. The other zone lies to the north-west of the Hankyu station.
Nishinomiya/Koshien-guchi/Ashiya is generally fine for a night out. The main risk is bottakuri, a padded bill at the end. Stick to venues that post their prices, skip street touts steering you into ‘free’ bars, and confirm the set fee plus any nomination or bottle charges before you order.
