Kagawa's nightlife listings are on two city pages, Takamatsu City, the prefectural capital, and Marugame City. Flights from Haneda to Takamatsu Airport take about 1 hour 20 minutes; by rail, change at Okayama from the Shinkansen to the Marine Liner rapid for the last hour.

Takamatsu is Kagawa's capital, with the prefectural government in Bancho. The Takamatsu Airport limousine bus, the Marine Liner from Okayama and the highway buses from Osaka and Tokyo all arrive at JR Takamatsu Station, and the JR Kotoku Line limited express reaches Tokushima Station in about 1 hour 10 minutes.
ANA and JAL fly from Haneda to Takamatsu Airport in about 1 hour 20 minutes and Jetstar from Narita in about 1 hour 40; the airport limousine reaches JR Takamatsu in about 45. Highway buses from Osaka take about 3 hours 15 to 3 hours 50 depending on the service, and the one from Tokyo Station via Shinjuku about 11 hours 40.
NIGHT LIFE JAPAN has two areas in Kagawa, Takamatsu City and Marugame City, each covering the whole city. Sakaide, Kanonji and the other cities have no areas yet.
Kagawa is generally fine for a night out. The main risk is bottakuri, a padded bill at the end. Stick to venues that post their prices, skip street touts steering you into ‘free’ bars, and confirm the set fee plus any nomination or bottle charges before you order.
