Sakai, Sakaihigashi, Nakamozu is an area within Sakai City, covering the neighbourhoods around Sakai Station on the Nankai Line, Sakaihigashi on the Koya Line and Nakamozu, which links to the Midosuji Line.
The Koya Line serves Sakaihigashi (NK56), while the Nankai Line serves Sakai (NK11). At Nakamozu (NK59), Semboku and Koya trains provide a connection to Nakamozu Station (M30) on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line.
Sakai City's central-area revitalisation plan treats the Sakaihigashi Station area as the city's hub, with administration drawn there by the relocation of city hall, a concentration of department stores and shopping streets.

Osaka City's touting ordinance is a municipal rule of Osaka City, so it does not apply to this area, which is in Sakai City. The areas the prefectural ordinance names for business after midnight are parts of Osaka City's Kita and Chuo wards; Sakai is not among them.
Sakai, Sakaihigashi, Nakamozu is generally fine for a night out. The main risk is bottakuri, a padded bill at the end. Stick to venues that post their prices, skip street touts steering you into ‘free’ bars, and confirm the set fee plus any nomination or bottle charges before you order.
