Regular Customer

A joren is a guest who returns to the same venue again and again; at a hostess club it can also mean someone who keeps fully nominating the same cast member. Being a regular brings the familiarity of a known face: a bottle kept under your name, a mama or cast member who remembers your name and tastes, invitations to events.

There is normally no mechanism by which a regular pays less. At a snack bar the circle of regulars is what gives the place its atmosphere, so the trick for a first-time guest is to fit in quietly with the mood of the room.
