The area spreads within a 5-minute walk from the east exit. Shops are concentrated along the north-south streets, with small snack bars and concept cafes tucked away in back alleys. The main street is bright and safe at night, though it transitions to residential areas further from the station.

The nightlife here is dominated by hostess bars (kyabakura) and girls bars. Hostess bars typically cost 3,000–5,000 yen per 30 minutes, ranging from upscale to casual. Girls bars are more relaxed, with a cover charge of 1,000–2,000 yen. Snack bars are frequented by local regulars and serve as social spots for adults to enjoy karaoke. Concept cafes themed around anime or games are increasing and popular among younger crowds.

There are over 50 venues around the station, concentrated in the east side entertainment district. Hostess bars are often on the second floor or above, while girls bars are more commonly on the ground floor. Snack bars operate quietly in small buildings in back alleys. Prices are generally lower than in Tokyo, making this area attractive for its affordability.
